A full UK driving licence is not an essential requirement for this role. However, due to the nature of the position, candidates who hold a valid driving licence and are able to travel independently may be at an advantage during the selection process.
About The Role
Location: Ashford
Salary: £28,844.33 per annum / £13.82 per hour
Working: 40 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday
Start time: 6:00 am – 14:30 pm
Full PPE provided

As a Loader at SUEZ Recycling and Recovery UK, you’ll play an essential role in supporting environmentally responsible waste and recycling services. This entry-level position is ideal for people who enjoy working outdoors, being active and contributing to a greener, more sustainable UK.
What will I be doing?
- Support the safe and efficient collection of household recycling and waste, ensuring excellent service for local residents.
- This includes:
- Loading collection vehicles and handling recycling and waste materials safely
- Working collaboratively with your crew to complete daily routes
- Providing a friendly, professional service to the public
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Ensuring compliance with contractual and environmental standards
What are the requirements?

- Physically fit and comfortable walking long distances as part of the role
- Reliable, safety-conscious and a strong team player
- Good communication skills and a commitment to excellent customer service
- Experience in the waste or recycling sector is helpful but not essential
- Training will be provided, including working safely with waste collection vehicles
