Delivery Driver & Loader – Join Cotteswold Dairy’s Hereford Depot

Are you looking for a role that can develop your skills and lead to progression? Cotteswold Dairy - a family-owned business with production based in Tewkesbury since 1938 - are looking for a Driver / Loader to join our team at our Hereford Depot.

You’ll have the unique opportunity to work both at the depot and out on the road, loading vehicles and delivering quality dairy products across the picturesque Herefordshire & South Wales landscapes and into the industrial heart of vibrant English cities. We are looking for a driver with 3.5T experience, or a 7.5T Licence (category C1) who is happy to help out in the depot as well as drive.

Summary

Working Shifts: Five shifts per week - across Sunday - Friday

Hours: 37.5 hours per week; (Apply online only) or (Apply online only)

You will represent Cotteswold Dairy by bringing our products to life for customers in both rural and urban settings. From the stunning Welsh Valleys to bustling towns, every route will bring a fresh perspective. This role involves picking and loading our quality products at our Hereford Depot, as well as multi-drop rounds where you’ll ensure each delivery meets our high standards. You’ll work with the team at the depot, and independently on the road - taking pride in your deliveries and the relationships you build with customers.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Accurate picking and stock rotation of customer orders
  • Stock replenishment and maintaining a safe, clean working environment
  • Loading and securing orders on delivery vehicles
  • Drive safely and courteously, delivering high-quality dairy products to semi-retail customers across both scenic countryside and urban routes.
  • Maintain Cotteswold Dairy’s reputation for excellent service, handling each delivery with care and precision.

Working Hours

Full-time: 37.5 hours per week (rostered average)

Daytime work with an 0800 or 0900 start time

What We're Looking For

  • A clean UK driving licence, minimum 3.5T van (7.5T an advantage)
  • Physical fitness for an active role involving manual handling.
  • A positive, reliable attitude with excellent attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to take on varied routes and schedules, ready for both rural and urban challenges.
