Loan Administration Manager

A well-established city-based bank is seeking an experienced Loan Administration Manager to lead the end-to-end administration of loan products. This role offers the opportunity to oversee a high-performing team, drive operational improvements, and be part of a LoaniQ integration project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the team responsible for day-to-day loans administration function, including processing, documentation, servicing, and settlements.
  • Ensure all activities comply with internal policies and relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the loans administration team, monitoring workloads and performance against KPIs and SLAs.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for complex loan queries or issues.
  • Maintain accurate loan records and reporting systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as credit and finance, to support business objectives.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Support audits and ensure readiness for regulatory reviews.
  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects as required.

Skills & Experience

  • Essential: Proven experience in syndicated loan operations, with a strong understanding of lending products and processes.
  • Essential: Previous team leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Essential: Proficiency in loan management systems, such as LoanIQ
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Business, or a related field (essential).
  • Minimum of 5 years’ banking experience.

Additional Information

  • Salary: Competitive, up to £85,000 plus a car allowance of £6,300, dependent on experience.
  • Hybrid Working: Within each 4-week period, employees are allowed to work up to 8 days from home.
  • Right to Work: Candidates must have the right to work in the UK.
