Loan Officer
Pathway Bank is a community bank with deep roots in agriculture. We’re hiring a loan officer to serve agricultural and commercial customers throughout the Burwell and Ord areas and build new relationships. Whether you’re an experienced loan officer or looking to start a career in lending, we’re willing to train the right candidate.
This full-time, exempt position offers great benefits and a family-friendly culture. Compensation includes the potential for loan incentives, performance-based bonuses, and a company-provided vehicle, depending on portfolio performance. You’ll develop and manage an agricultural and commercial loan portfolio, with training and support based on your experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Building customer relationships to meet lending, deposit, and service needs
- Understanding customers’ operations, cash flow, and financing needs to provide practical lending guidance
- Analyzing credit and financial information to structure sound loans
- Monitoring portfolio performance, credit quality, and risk
- Growing the portfolio, deposits, and use of bank services
- Collaborating with team members and participating in community activities

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, business administration, agriculture, finance, accounting, or related area preferred, or equivalent work experience.
- Agricultural lending experience and knowledge of farming and ranching operations are highly preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in agribusiness, lending, banking, financial services, or a related field required.
- Ability to build strong working relationships within the organization and develop professional relationships with customers and business associations.
