Job Title: Loans Administrator

Duration: 5 months

Location: London/Hybrid (two to three days in the office)

Salary: Competitive

About the Role

Our client, a leading player in the banking industry, is seeking talented Loans Administrators to support their Corporate Banking Loan Operations. This is an exceptional opportunity for individuals with a strong background in loans administration, particularly within complex loan portfolios. If you are passionate about delivering high-quality service and are ready to take on a new challenge, this role could be the perfect fit!

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily Loan Servicing: Coordinate and action all aspects of loan administration for a Level 4 loan portfolio, ensuring precision and compliance with regulations.
  • Support and Collaboration: Provide direct support to front office colleagues across EMEA, as well as external lenders and borrowers.
  • Operational Excellence: Drive and implement change initiatives under the OAD, KAIZEN philosophy, and support strategic firm-wide and regulatory change initiatives.
  • Documentation Management: Review documents, manage booking and payment settlements for secondary trading, and coordinate Agency fee billing and settlements.
  • Reporting and Audits: Undertake daily and monthly team reporting, ensuring timely actions on critical reports and supporting internal and external audits.

Who You Are

  • Experience: A strong understanding of Loans Administration with relevant market knowledge, particularly in complex loan structures.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Technical Proficiency: Understanding of LoanIQ, funding implications, SWIFT payments, and legal loan documentation would be a plus.
  • Conscientious: A detail-oriented professional who prioritises accuracy, meets deadlines, and continually seeks process improvements.
  • Adaptable: Comfortable navigating changing requirements and adept at balancing daily responsibilities with tactical process enhancements.
