Location: Hybrid based in Chester 2/3 days per week, the rest from home
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: December 2026, very likely to be extended, potentially perm
Daily Rate: Competitive Day rate, Inside IR35

We're looking for an experienced Loans/Agency Documentation Specialist to join a high-performing lending operations team, supporting syndicated and bilateral loan transactions from approval through to funding.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in loan administration, loan documentation, agency operations, or lending fulfilment, who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with front office, legal, credit and operational teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Review and validate loan and security documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with bank policies.
- Manage documentation, due diligence and collateral perfection activities to support successful loan closings.
- Review facility agreements and supporting legal documentation prepared by external counsel.
- Support loan booking, funding and ongoing documentation management activities.
- Work closely with Relationship Managers, Credit Officers, Loan Administrators, Legal Counsel and Agency Management to ensure seamless transaction execution.
- Maintain accurate records, controls and audit trails throughout the lending lifecycle.
- Contribute to quality assurance activities and help drive operational excellence across the team.
Required Experience
- Proven experience in Loan Administration, Loan Operations, Agency Loans or Loan Documentation.
- Strong understanding of loan products and lending processes.
- Experience reviewing facility documentation and supporting loan closings.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred
- Loan IQ experience.
- Syndicated and/or bilateral loan experience.
- Microsoft Excel proficiency.
- Experience working with legal documentation, security documentation, or collateral management.
