Aria Partners are working with a leading private credit investment manager that is looking to hire a Loan Operations Manager into its London-based team.

The role will sit at the heart of the firm’s middle office team, taking ownership across loan operations and working closely with the investment team, internal operations colleagues, and external service providers.

The position will have broad responsibility across the day-to-day running and continued development of the loan operating model, including:

  • Coordinating loan servicing, settlements, and ongoing trade support
  • Oversight of outsourced service providers and review of operational deliverables
  • Acting as a key escalation point for loan and credit-related operational matters
  • Cash flow monitoring and reconciliations
  • Supporting activity across private and public credit, derivatives, and FX
  • Reviewing and improving controls, processes, and operational infrastructure
  • Providing technical support and guidance across the wider team
  • Supporting strategic projects and enhancements to the credit operating platform

Requirements include:

  • Over five years' experience across private credit, direct lending, or leveraged loan operations, with strong knowledge of the loan lifecycle and servicing process.
  • Experience working with third-party administrators, custodians, or other outsourced providers would be highly relevant.
  • Exposure to systems such as Loan IQ and WSO would also be strongly preferred.

Compensation on offer is circa £80,000-100,000 coupled with a discretionary bonus and wider benefits package.
