Role Summary

This role owns the preparation and management of mortgage applications across the full lifecycle, from initial application through to settlement and post-settlement follow-up. Day to day, you will review and prepare loan applications, collect and verify documentation from clients and third parties, and liaise with lenders to keep files moving and expedite approvals. The role works closely with the broker in a small, growing team, and suits someone who can work independently and hit the ground running!

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the broker in reviewing and preparing loan applications
  • Collect and verify necessary documentation from clients and third parties
  • Communicate with lenders to monitor application status and expedite approvals
  • Respond to client inquiries and provide timely updates on application progress
  • Manage applications through to settlement and conduct post settlement check-ins with clients
  • Maintain compliance with industry regulations and company policies
  • Work through a steady pipeline of files to keep processing on track
  • Support the team with administrative tasks related to loan processing as required

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an Australian mortgage broking support role
  • Strong understanding of Australian mortgage processes and lender requirements
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace, with Infynity CRM and ApplyOnline is nice to have but not essential
  • Able to work independently and hit the ground running with minimal onboarding
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
