Local Business Development Manager

Allen Motor Group are currently looking to employ a Local Business Development Manager at our KIA dealership in Rayleigh. To be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers and growing KIA local business sales across the Essex CMA. The position is offered on a full-time permanent basis, Monday – Friday, with a basic salary of £30,000 and an OTE of £45,000 reporting to the General Manager.

Do I need experience?

To be considered for this position you will need to have strong previous automotive sales experience, having B2B automotive sales experience would be very highly advantageous. The key attributes and skills we look for in candidates are:

  • Previous selling and influencing skills
  • An ability to follow procedures, policies, and instructions
  • A passion for providing first class customer service
  • Fantastic communication skills

Key Duties and Responsibilities

As a Local Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for and not limited to:

  • Identifying and contacting local businesses, SMEs, and key sectors to promote the KIA range.
  • Carrying out business visits to understand requirements and recommend suitable KIA models and funding options.
  • Prepare quotes promptly and complete finance proposals and documents inline with FCA/ITC guidelines.
  • Maintaining your own product knowledge and awareness of competitor activity
