Job Summary

Job Title: Local HR Director UK

Location: Warrington or Birmingham, UK

Shape the people agenda behind business transformation in the UK.

As our Local HR Director UK, you’ll lead the HR function across 3 legal entities and ~500 employees, managing a team of 3 HR professionals. Reporting to the HR Director Europe, you’ll partner with senior leaders and regional and global HR teams to connect business priorities with effective people solutions and make a meaningful impact on people and the business. You will drive key initiatives in talent development, organizational design, change and employee relations – all while ensuring compliance with UK employment law.


What You’ll Do

  • Partner with senior leaders to align people strategy with current and future business priorities,
  • Lead and develop the local HR team, working closely with regional and global HR colleagues to deliver effective, globally aligned HR services and translate international priorities into practical local solutions,
  • Oversee all HR functions: talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, learning & development, compensation & benefits, workforce planning, talent management,
  • Support organizational transformation, restructuring and M&A-related HR activities,
  • Provide strategic guidance on complex people matters while ensuring compliance with UK employment law,
  • Use people insights and HR data to support decision-making and continuously improve HR practices.

What You’ll Bring

  • 10+ years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role,
  • CIPD Level 7 Diploma or equivalent,
  • Strong expertise in UK labor law and employment practices,
  • Proven track record of leading complex HR topics, such as M&A, restructuring, and organizational change taking account of UK TUPE legislation requirements,
  • Experience working in an international, multiple entity and matrix-based environment, with strong skills in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management,
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills, combined with a strategic mindset and a hands-on, solution-oriented approach,
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the UK and occasionally across Europe.
