Min fees. Max ease. Full speed.

Whether people and businesses are sending money to another country, spending abroad, or making and receiving international payments, Wise is on a mission to make their lives easier and save them money.

As part of our team, you will be helping us create an entirely new network for the world's money.

For everyone, everywhere.

More about our mission and what we offer.

Job Description

At Wise, we want to make money move across borders easily and eventually free. Our team contributes to this with words and we still have work to do.

We are looking for an experienced Arabic Localisation Specialist to join our global localisation team. The ideal candidate must possess native-level fluency in Modern Standard Arabic (MSA).

Our localisation team is passionate about the Wise mission and wants to make sure that more countries and customers hear about it.

We want our product to be easy to use and accessible, and to speak to our customers as if it was written in their language.

This is a challenging and exciting role in which you will be able to localise and adapt our contents and also have the ability to come up with innovative ways of reaching new customers.

What about the role?

The role is based in our London office. You will work closely with the Localisation Project Management team and other Localisation Specialists based in our offices around the world.

You need to have a passion for words, experience in localisation, and a deep technical understanding of introducing Right-to-Left (RTL) language frameworks to mobile and web products. You should be comfortable working on finance, product, and marketing content.

This role will give you the opportunity to:

  • Work with product managers, developers, and localisation managers to help identify and solve problems
  • Engage in creative processes and help Wise find its voice in Arabic
  • Research the local market and find ways for Wise to stand out

Your mission

  • Lead the end-to-end localisation of the Wise App and web interface from English to Modern Standard Arabic (MSA), ensuring a natural, modern, and professional fintech user experience.
  • Localise Product/Marketing/Support contents from English to Arabic maintaining the correct meaning, context and tone of the source text whilst adapting it to your local language
  • Partner with QA managers, product managers, engineers, and UX designers to perform thorough linguistic Quality Assurance (QA) and context testing, ensuring the app mirrors perfectly for RTL layout and readability.
  • Proofread and edit translated contents for linguistic accuracy and clarity
  • Collaborate with the other localisation team members to promote synergies between markets or refine the tools, workflows or processes in use in the team
  • Leverage user feedback, app reviews, and product data to continuously iterate and improve the quality of our Arabic content.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and solve common internationalisation (i18n) and layout issues specific to Arabic and RTL languages (e.g., mixed Arabic/English strings, numbers, currencies, dates, names, addresses, and mirrored icons)
  • Partner and collaborate with external vendors and freelancers to ensure expectations regarding tone, style, and deliverables are crystal clear and consistently met.
  • Evaluate and report on vendor quality for a continuous improvement cycle
  • Define and establish Wise’s Arabic voice, balancing modern financial terminology with local cultural sensitivity across all platforms (app, web, marketing, and support).
  • Establish and maintain language glossary, guidelines and terminology for other language stakeholders and teams, and keep it accessible
  • Define guidelines for gender representation in the Arabic UI, balancing the grammatical constraints of the language with an inclusive, modern, and respectful customer experience.
  • Act as the primary cultural and linguistic advisor for Wise's expansion into Arabic-speaking markets. You will champion the user experience, advising marketing, product and engineering teams on how regional users perceive financial tech, trust parameters, and UI design.
  • Identify and address growth opportunities with Arabic audiences

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
