About The Opportunity
We are recruiting to several exciting senior leadership roles within our Adult Social Care Directorate.
These roles sit at the forefront of our transformation programme, leading the development of personalised and responsive neighbourhood-based services and integrated ways of working across the NHS, housing, local government, and the voluntary and community sector.

Roles Available
Head of Service – Community Wellbeing & Resilience
Lead the development of integrated community wellbeing services, creating stronger connections between health, social care, communities and the voluntary sector, with responsibility for the hospital social work team, reablement, discharge to assess, occupational therapy and our multi-agency joint emergency team.
Head of Service – Neighbourhood Wellbeing & Resilience
Lead Greenwich's contact and neighbourhood-based social care teams across four neighbourhoods and the development of integrated system responses by bringing together services, partners and communities to deliver innovative, preventative and person-centred support.
Locality Lead (4 Posts)
Lead multidisciplinary neighbourhood teams and local partnerships to deliver seamless, strength-based support that empowers residents and improves outcomes.
Deputy Locality Lead (4 Posts)
Support operational leadership, workforce development and service improvement across neighbourhood teams, ensuring residents receive responsive, high-quality support.

As a Locality Lead, you will play a pivotal role in delivering Greenwich's vision for neighbourhood-based Adult Social Care.
Working across a defined locality, you will lead multidisciplinary teams and develop strong partnerships with health services, housing providers, community organisations and local residents. You'll be responsible for ensuring that adults receive high-quality, person-centred support that promotes independence, wellbeing and choice, while helping to prevent, reduce and delay the need for formal care and support.

This is a strategic leadership role that combines operational excellence with system-wide influence. You will lead the delivery of Care Act responsibilities, oversee service performance, manage resources effectively and drive transformational change across your locality. Just as importantly, you will help develop stronger connections between statutory services and local communities, ensuring support is built around people's strengths, aspirations and relationships.

Salary
