Locum Consultant in Acute Medicine
We are looking to appoint a dynamic forward-thinking Locum Consultant in Acute Medicine to join our current team at Eastbourne Hospital. This post will support our expanding Acute Medical Team on an AMU with 5 bays and 4 side rooms, and a purpose-built Same Day Emergency Care Unit with 8 trolleys, 4 beds and 2 dedicated treatment rooms.
PLEASE NOTE: This is an up to 12 month fixed term contract
Candidates with a background in Acute Medicine, or those dual trained in General Internal Medicine and a medical specialty would be welcome to apply. Specialty sessions are strongly encouraged and would be accommodated where possible. Our team is passionate about delivering safe, considerate care to a high standard. You will be working with an experienced team of nurses, advanced nurse practitioners and designated discharge support services.

The successful applicant will have a role in teaching both under- and postgraduate students and will also support colleagues doing these activities as part of their agreed job plan.
