Job Title: Locum Breast Sonographer

Location: Luton, Bedfordshire

Contract Type: Ongoing Weekend Locum Booking (Saturdays & Sundays)

Rate: £450 per day

Payment: Sole Trader or Limited Company

Role Overview

Oxford Natural Healthcare Professionals is recruiting an experienced Breast Sonographer to support a busy One Stop Breast Clinic in Luton, Bedfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity to secure an ongoing weekend block booking, working within a dedicated multidisciplinary breast imaging team delivering high-quality diagnostic services.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years U.K. experience in breast.
  • Competent in performing and reporting breast ultrasound examinations.
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • DBS Registered on the annual update service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality breast ultrasound examinations within a One Stop Breast Clinic.
  • Accurately identify and assess breast abnormalities.
  • Produce clear, timely and accurate ultrasound reports.
  • Work collaboratively with Consultant Radiologists, Breast Clinicians, and Breast Care Nurses.
  • Maintain exceptional standards of patient care, dignity, and compassion.
  • Ensure compliance with departmental protocols, quality standards, and governance requirements.

On Offer

  • Ongoing weekend block booking (Saturdays & Sundays).
  • Regular weekend work with excellent continuity.
  • Shifts: 08:30 – 18:00.
  • Rate: £450 per day.
  • Payment via Sole Trader or Limited Company.
  • Opportunity to work within a well-established One Stop Breast Clinic.
  • Support from a dedicated specialist recruitment consultant throughout your placement.
