This post is mainly based at Edgware Community hospital, but with clinical commitments at other sites across Barnet.
Required
The successful candidate will be required to contribute to multidisciplinary meetings, governance meetings and processes, teaching, and other departmental meetings. It is expected that Consultants within the team will provide supervision and support to Resident Doctors and other locally employed Junior medical staffing across the Edgware Community Hospital site, and wherein patients have been admitted to one of the following acute hospital sites, and require input from the Community team:

The Barnet Child Development team is an enthusiastic and innovative team looking at ways to redefine the way they work in a changing NHS climate, facing the challenges of providing the very best of clinical care in a community setting. It is well supported by an experienced team of therapists employed by partner NHS organisations and has good cross-agency relationships.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
