Job Description
This is a fixed term post comprised of 8 Direct Clinical Activities and 2 Supporting Professional Activities providing outpatient Hepatology, inpatient Gastroenterology and Hepatology and Endoscopy services. The post-holder will be on call for acute gastrointestinal bleeding rota currently covering both THH and Harefield Hospital on a 1 week in 7-8 basis, dependent upon recruitment. This attracts 1 PA included within the DCC allocation. The intention would be to remove the Harefield commitment from the department in the future, with a consequent 0.5PA reduction each. There is an availability uplift for on-call from THHFT (currently 5%). There is no General Medical on call commitment for this post.
Applicants must hold a CCT in Gastroenterology and GIM or be within 6 months of CCT to be eligible to apply for the post.

About the Trust
The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute Hospital in the London Borough of Hillingdon and offers a wide range of services including accident and emergency, inpatient care, day surgery, outpatient clinics and maternity services. The Trust’s services at Mount Vernon Hospital include routine day surgery, delivered at a modern treatment centre, a minor injuries unit and outpatient clinics.
