Two Locum Consultant Posts Available
Two Locum Consultant posts are available within the Emergency Department of Birmingham Children’s Hospital to support our winter period. The posts comprise 10 programmed activities with a commitment to 1:5 weekends on call for the Emergency Department.
About the Team
You will be joining a friendly and dedicated team of:
- 10 Consultants
- 6 Specialty Doctors/Senior Clinical Fellows
- 4 senior Specialist Trainees (from Emergency Medicine and Paediatrics)
- 9 ST2/3s
- 2 GPVTS trainees
- 2 Teaching Fellows
We are also proud of our ongoing development of Advanced Nursing Practice within the ED. As a university teaching hospital, we provide excellent opportunities for education, and there is an active research programme within our department.
