Applicants are invited for a full-time Locum Consultant Radiologist post based at the East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. The post includes Programmed Activities in Paediatric and General Radiology.

The successful candidate will join a team of 20 Consultant Radiologists to help deliver Diagnostic Imaging Services to the Trust and local commissioners. The candidates are required to have a subspecialty interest in Paediatric imaging. Additional subspecialty interests in other areas can also be accommodated and it is recommended that interested candidates explore this in person.

Responsibilities

  • Fully participate in the provision of paediatric imaging
  • Maintenance of high quality patient centred care
  • Shared responsibility for the day to day management of the service and participation in strategic planning
  • Teaching and training within the multidisciplinary service
  • Active involvement in multidisciplinary team meetings and directorate clinical governance activity
  • Active participation in continuing medical education
