Job Description: Orthopaedic Consultant Surgeon

This is a locum appointment for 12 months for an Orthopaedic Consultant Surgeon. This will be based at Royal Derby Hospital (RDH).

Successful Candidates

The successful candidates will bring one or more subspeciality interests that align with the needs of our department. These may include:

  • Primary hip and knee arthroplasty
  • Revision hip arthroplasty
  • Orthopaedic Trauma and Limb reconstruction

You will work collaboratively across our sites with a base hospital at RDH and contribute to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. This role may involve a split-site job plan to maximize opportunities for optimizing patient pathways and service development.
