General Radiologist with a Subspecialist Interest in Paediatric Imaging

Responsibilities

As a senior employee of the Trust, you will work in close cooperation with and support other clinical, medical, professional, and managerial colleagues in providing high-quality, safe healthcare to patients. Integral to these responsibilities is the following:

  • The provision of an exceptional service
  • Undertaking all work in accordance with trust policies and procedures, including the Code of Behaviour
  • Contribute to the management of the clinical service and service development
  • Conducting clinical practice in accordance with contractual requirements and within the parameters of Homerton’s business plans

Clinical Responsibilities

The main duties of the post will be as follows:

  • To provide, in conjunction with consultant colleagues, a comprehensive radiology service.
  • To provide an imaging advisory service for the hospital together with other Consultants in line with an agreed job plan with on-call rota and prospective cover.
  • To liaise effectively and on a timely basis with General Practitioners and community services.
  • To maintain and promote team and multi-disciplinary working within the radiology department.
  • To participate in the governance process.
  • To take part in continuing medical education activities.
