General Radiologist with a Subspecialist Interest in Paediatric Imaging
Responsibilities
As a senior employee of the Trust, you will work in close cooperation with and support other clinical, medical, professional, and managerial colleagues in providing high-quality, safe healthcare to patients. Integral to these responsibilities is the following:
- The provision of an exceptional service
- Undertaking all work in accordance with trust policies and procedures, including the Code of Behaviour
- Contribute to the management of the clinical service and service development
- Conducting clinical practice in accordance with contractual requirements and within the parameters of Homerton’s business plans
Clinical Responsibilities
The main duties of the post will be as follows:
- To provide, in conjunction with consultant colleagues, a comprehensive radiology service.
- To provide an imaging advisory service for the hospital together with other Consultants in line with an agreed job plan with on-call rota and prospective cover.
- To liaise effectively and on a timely basis with General Practitioners and community services.
- To maintain and promote team and multi-disciplinary working within the radiology department.
- To participate in the governance process.
- To take part in continuing medical education activities.
