Locum Employment Solicitor
We are currently working with a well-established law firm seeking an experienced Locum Employment Solicitor to provide support during a busy period. This is an excellent opportunity for an employment lawyer with strong tribunal and advisory experience who is available at short notice.
The Role
You will handle a varied caseload of employment matters on behalf of both employers and employees, including:
- Employment Tribunal claims from inception to conclusion
- Drafting ET1s, ET3s, witness statements and tribunal documentation
- Advising on disciplinary and grievance procedures
- Unfair dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing matters
- Redundancy and restructuring advice
- Settlement agreements and employment contracts
- Conducting advocacy where required
- Providing practical and commercial employment law advice to clients

Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or experienced Employment Lawyer
- Proven employment law experience gained within private practice or in-house
- Strong Employment Tribunal experience
- Experience handling both contentious and non-contentious employment matters
- Ability to manage a caseload with minimal supervision
- Excellent drafting and client care skills
- Available to commence at short notice
