About The Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Locum General Practitioner to join a friendly and well-established GP practice in Wadhurst.
The practice is seeking a GP to provide ongoing locum cover with an immediate start available. You'll be joining a supportive multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality patient care with 15-minute appointments and flexible working arrangements where service needs allow.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality General Practice consultations
- Assess, diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
- Prescribe safely as an Independent Prescriber
- Develop personalised treatment and management plans
- Refer patients appropriately to secondary and community services
- Maintain accurate clinical records using SystmOne
- Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team
- Provide safe, compassionate and patient-centred care

What We're Looking For
Essential
- MRCGP qualified
- Full GMC Registration with Licence to Practise
- Inclusion on the GMC GP Register
- Listed on an NHS National Performers List (England, Wales or Northern Ireland)
- Independent Prescriber
- UK based
- Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills
Desirable
- Experience using SystmOne
- Previous NHS locum GP experience
- Ability to provide regular availability
