Role Description
Bluestones Medical is currently seeking experienced General Practitioners to support an established Out-of-Hours service across Worcestershire and Warwickshire, with a particular focus on overnight cover.

Overnight availability is currently a priority, although there are also opportunities to support weekday, weekend, and bank holiday services on a temporary locum basis.
Duties may include:
- Providing urgent and unscheduled primary care outside normal General Practice hours
- Assessing, diagnosing, and managing a broad range of acute presentations
- Undertaking telephone and face-to-face consultations
- Managing undifferentiated presentations safely and autonomously
- Supporting patients with a range of urgent and out-of-hours healthcare needs
- Working collaboratively with the wider clinical team
- Supporting overnight, weekend, and bank holiday services
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and appropriate safety-netting
This is an Out-of-Hours role across Worcestershire, with flexibility required to support the needs of the service.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Current General Medical Council registration with a Licence to Practise
- Registration on the National Health Service Performers List
- Previous experience working as a General Practitioner in the United Kingdom
- Previous Out-of-Hours, urgent care, or unscheduled care experience
- Competent using Adastra
- Experience managing undifferentiated presentations autonomously
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Appropriate medical indemnity
- Completion of relevant mandatory training and compliance requirements
- Flexibility to support overnight, weekend, and bank holiday shifts
- Regular overnight availability is highly desirable
