Locum Neurology Rehab Physiotherapist for a minimum 4 Month ongoing Assignment in London

A patient centred neuro-rehabilitation physiotherapist is required for a long term locum assignment with one of our clients, to support a specialist neuro-rehab service delivering high-quality, rehabilitation for adults. Our client's service is known for its personalised treatment pathways, strong clinical governance, and a collaborative, multidisciplinary ethos.

Role Overview

  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Caseload: Neurological rehabilitation (stroke, TBI, spinal injury, MS, functional impairments)
  • Contract: Minimum 4 months, strong extension potential
  • Location: Central / North London (community and clinic-based)
  • Job Type: Full-time, Temporary

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver neuro-rehab physiotherapy using interventions tailored to individual patient goals.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments.
  • Develop and progress personalised treatment plans aligned with patient-centred rehabilitation.
  • Provide hands-on therapy.
  • Collaborate with MDT colleagues to optimise patient outcomes and ensure continuity of care.
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and treatment records.
  • Support patient education, self-management strategies, and long-term rehabilitation planning.
  • Work as part of an MDT team in the community in private homes and facilities.

  • HCPC registration
  • Demonstrable experience in neurological rehabilitation.
  • Strong patient-centred communication and clinical reasoning skills.
  • Ability to work independently within a structured MDT environment.
  • Immediate or near immediate availability.

Desirable Experience

  • Community neuro-rehab caseload management.
  • Experience with stroke, TBI, MS, spinal injury or complex neuro presentations.
  • Familiarity with goal-based rehab frameworks and outcome measurement tools.
