Location: Stoke-on-Trent

Rate: £30.00 per hour (all-inclusive)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Working Hours: 9:00am–5:00pm (flexible)

Start Date: ASAP

Service: Medicines Management / GP Out of Hours (GPOOH)

About the Role

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Locum Pharmacy Technician to join the Medicines Management team in Stoke-on-Trent.

This is primarily an office-based, non-patient-facing role, supporting the Medicines Management and GP Out of Hours (GPOOH) services.

  • Support the Medicines Management team with pharmacy-related tasks.
  • Assist with medication-related processes and medicines management activities.
  • Support the GP Out of Hours service as required.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Work effectively as part of the wider healthcare team.
  • Follow relevant pharmacy procedures and professional standards.

Requirements

Essential Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy Technician qualification – Essential
  • Current GPhC registration – Essential
  • Previous Pharmacy Technician experience.
  • Understanding of medicines management processes.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • ASAP availability preferred.
