About the Company
An established and highly regarded law firm in Greater London is seeking an experienced Locum Private Client Lawyer to provide support during a period of increased workload and planned annual leave within the team.
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and collaborative private client department handling a varied caseload of high-net-worth and traditional private client matters. The assignment is expected to run for an initial 3-6 months, with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate will be able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision and manage an existing caseload from day one.
Responsibilities
- Drafting Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
- Estate administration and probate matters
- Advising on inheritance tax and estate planning
- Deputyship and Court of Protection applications
- Trust creation, administration and advice
- Managing client relationships and progression of files
- Providing technical support to junior members of the team where required

Qualifications
- Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or experienced Fee Earner
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years' experience handling private client matters
- Strong knowledge of Wills, Probate, LPAs and Trusts
- Ability to manage a caseload autonomously
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- Previous locum or consultancy experience would be advantageous but is not essential

Pay range and compensation package
- 📍 Greater London (Hybrid Working Available)
- 💷 £45-£60 per hour
- 📅 3-6 Month Assignment (Potential Extension
- ⏰ Full-Time Preferred | Part-Time Considered
