Our client is a well-established and highly regarded London law firm, recognised for its sophisticated private client and property offering. The firm acts for an impressive client base, including high-net-worth individuals and families, and has an excellent reputation for handling complex and high-value residential property matters.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Residential Property Solicitor with a strong background handling sophisticated, high-value residential property transactions. This Residential Property Locum position is initially available for a 3-month period, with the potential for an extension. The successful candidate will be required to work 5 days per week on a hybrid basis, with 3 days in the London office and 2 days working remotely.

Responsibilities
Duties will include:
- Managing acquisitions and disposals of high-value residential property across London and the wider UK
- Advising on complex freehold and leasehold transactions
- Handling matters involving period properties, new developments and off-plan purchases
- Advising on lease extensions and freehold acquisitions
- Assisting with residential development matters
- Providing advice in relation to residential property portfolios
- Liaising directly with high-net-worth clients, agents and other professional advisers
- Working collaboratively with the wider Residential Property team, with paralegal support available

Requirements
- Minimum 8 years' PQE within Residential Property
- Strong experience handling complex and high-value residential property transactions
- Experience gained within a highly regarded Residential Property practice
- Confident acting for high-net-worth clients and managing matters autonomously
- Able to provide experienced support within a busy team
- Available to commence at short notice
Pay range and compensation package
- Competitive hourly rate of £55ph+ DOE
- Initial 3-month assignment with the potential to extend
- High-quality, sophisticated Residential Property work
- Hybrid working - 3 days in the office and 2 days remote
- Paralegal support available
- Standard working hours of 9.30am - 5.30pm
