⚙️ Logistics & Warehouse Operator
📍 Adlington, UK | 🕒 Full-time (39 hours per week, Monday–Friday)
About The Role
We are looking for a reliable and versatile Logistics & Warehouse Operator to join our team.
This is a hands-on role supporting the safe movement, handling, and delivery of high-value machinery and components both on-site and to customers. You will play a key role in ensuring goods are transported, stored, and dispatched efficiently while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
Logistics & Transport
- Move, load, secure, and transport high-value bespoke machinery on-site and to customers
- Collect and deliver parts and materials to suppliers
- Coordinate and organise transport documentation (delivery notes, invoices, CMRs)
Warehouse & Site Support
- Move equipment and components between departments across site
- Organise and maintain storage locations
- Support internal logistics and material flow
Packing & Handling
- Pack, crate, load, and unload machinery and components safely
- Ensure correct securing of loads for transport
- Photograph and document equipment after loading

- Act as a machine banksman, ensuring safe lifting and movement operations
- Maintain high standards of Health & Safety and safe working zones
- Support safe movement of pedestrians and equipment across site
Essential
What You’ll Bring
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Forklift Truck (FLT) Licence (will be re-tested)
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- IT literacy
- Reliable and adaptable approach to work
- Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Desirable
- Experience moving bespoke engineering equipment
- Experience working within Health & Safety frameworks in a manufacturing or logistics environment
- Experience managing safe zones and pedestrian traffic during lifting operations
