We're looking for a Logistics Administrator to join our busy land testing laboratory in Hawarden. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in keeping our logistics operations running smoothly - from managing courier relationships to ensuring every sample collection goes without a hitch.
If you've worked in customer service, administration, transport coordination or another fast-moving environment, you may already have exactly what we're looking for! As our Logistics Administrator, you'll be the first point of contact for couriers and clients, coordinating collections, resolving issues as they arise and making sure our logistics operation delivers a seamless experience every time.
The Position
- Contract: Fixed Term until 31st January 2027
- Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week
- Location: Hawarden, Flintshire (on-site)
- Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, day shifts
The Day to Day
- Handle incoming and outgoing calls with couriers and clients professionally and efficiently
- Book and coordinate sample collections, ensuring alignment with laboratory schedules
- Resolve logistics issues and queries promptly, keeping all parties informed
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth collections and deliveries
- Maintain accurate records of bookings, collections and communications
- Work in line with ISO 17025 and our company quality management system

The Essentials
- Previous experience in an administrative, logistics or customer-facing role
- A confident communicator, comfortable handling calls with couriers, clients and internal teams
- Strong IT skills including Excel and Outlook, with the ability to learn internal systems
- Able to work accurately under pressure, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently
