Job Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Administrator to join our Planning team on a Fixed Term Contract. The role will be based at our facility at Drumsill Distribution Centre on Moy Road, Armagh.

Role Purpose

The purpose of the role is planning and coordination of logistics for deliveries and collections, ensuring efficient scheduling, route optimization, and timely transportation of goods while maintaining clear communication with drivers, customers, and suppliers.

Contract Details

  • Contract Type: Fixed-Term Contract until July 2027
  • Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 10.30am to 6.30pm.

Main Responsibilities

  • Computer literate with strong working knowledge of Microsoft
  • Planned and coordinated own fleet and third-party logistics shipments.
  • Imported shipment information into 3PL portals accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepared and sent delivery documentation to 3PL providers.
  • Printed and organized delivery documentation for own fleet.
  • Handled general customer and operational queries in a timely manner.
  • Tracked and monitored deliveries to ensure on-time performance.
  • Maintained accurate filing systems and scanned documentation for record-keeping.
  • Logged shipment uplifts and updated relevant tracking systems.

Skills and Experience

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Programmes
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience in logistics, planning, or a similar operational environment would be beneficial.
