Logistics Administrator
Location: Horsham
Salary: £30,000–£32,000 + benefits
Are you an organised Logistics Administrator who enjoys keeping things moving, solving problems and making sure customers receive exactly what they expect?
We’re recruiting for a Logistics Administrator to join the logistics team of an established packaging supplier in Horsham. This is a varied, hands-on role where you’ll coordinate collections and deliveries, liaise with customers and suppliers, and help ensure goods move efficiently and cost-effectively.
The role
You’ll be responsible for supporting the day-to-day logistics operation, ensuring shipments and collections are completed accurately and on time.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating the collection and shipment of goods
- Tracking deliveries and following up where anything has not gone to plan
- Keeping customers informed when goods are ready for collection or delivery
- Preparing logistics and shipping documentation accurately
- Liaising with carriers, suppliers, customers and internal teams
- Seeking improved pricing for larger loads and regular transport requirements
- Supporting wider logistics-team activity and providing cover where needed
- Maintaining accurate information across internal systems
- Working with ERP and transport-management systems to support efficient processes

What we’re looking for:
- Previous administration experience within logistics, transport, supply chain, customer service or a similar environment
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
- Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a busy environment
- Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Experience using ERP or transport-management systems would be an advantage, but is not essential
