Whether it’s a Friday-night feast, a post-gym poke bowl, or grabbing some groceries, our tech platform connects tens of millions of customers with hundreds of thousands of restaurant, grocery and convenience partners across the globe.

About this role:

In this fixed-term contract role, the Logistics Data Analyst will work closely inside Just Eat Takeaway’s UK & IE Delivery Operations and Product teams to support the development of a world-class delivery experience.

This role will involve grasping complex concepts quickly, uncovering facts and identifying root causes of performance issues from detailed data, as well as understanding general trends.

Furthermore, you will be combining different internal and external data sources to produce and derive insights. A passion for data and process driven operational improvement is key as well as the ability to work within a team of people with different skill sets.

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

  • Leading key analytical initiatives and projects to continuously enhance our delivery operations and customer experience.
  • Proactively suggesting and conducting relevant data analyses to enable deeper operational insights.
  • Supporting the optimisation of key business processes to continuously improve the delivery experience and promote efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Working closely with stakeholders from our employed courier model and coordinating cross-functional initiatives (working closely with the strategic account management team, Just Eat’s customer care team, business intelligence team, and delivery partners) to drive positive, timely outcomes for the business.
  • Understanding delivery operations metrics in depth and ensuring consistent use across the business, being able to communicate them to other teams.
  • Investigating problem orders to identify their root cause(s) and, whenever possible, identify trends and proactively eliminate/reduce re-occurrences.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
