UK Logistics and Fulfilment Project Manager (4 month FTC)

up to £70k | London – 2 days in the office

Pod is excited to be working with a phenomenal cosmetics business who is looking for a UK Logistics and Fulfilment Project Manager to join their team in London for 4 months (2 days in the London office).

In this role, you will be responsible for keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly while driving the delivery of a new warehouse opening. As the contract progresses, the focus will shift further towards project delivery, with the potential to support other upcoming supply chain projects.

In this role, you will…

  • Lead day-to-day Order to Cash operations across B2B and DTC channels through peak, managing 3PL, transport and carrier partners to ensure service levels, customer commitments and key operational KPIs are consistently met.
  • Manage operational issues including order exceptions, logistics disruptions and inventory accuracy, while supporting the year-end stock count and reconciliation alongside the 3PL and Finance.
  • Act as the operational lead for the new warehouse opening, owning the project plan, action log and weekly governance while driving delivery against key milestones, risks and decisions.
  • Lead warehouse readiness activities, including inventory planning, ERP–WMS integration, testing and customer communications, partnering closely with Commercial, Planning, Finance and brand teams to protect customer service throughout implementation.
  • Work alongside the Supply Chain Director to support the wider Customer Excellence, Logistics and Master Data team, while contributing to additional supply chain projects and ensuring effective documentation and handover at the end of the contract.

About you:

  • Proven experience in supply chain, operations or logistics management within a fast-paced, multi-channel environment, ideally across FMCG, beauty or retail.
  • Hands-on experience managing 3PL partners and delivering warehouse openings or implementations, including requirements planning, operational readiness and stakeholder coordination.
  • Strong ERP–WMS integration experience is essential, with NetSuite experience preferred, alongside advanced Excel skills and confidence using data to identify issues and drive action.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience managing project plans, governance, actions and multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • A proactive, hands-on and solutions-focused approach, with excellent communication skills and the ability to take ownership and make an immediate impact in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
