Logistics Operative

Salary: £31,473
Location: Coalville
Working Arrangement: On-site, five days per week
Contract: Permanent, full-time

Overview

Our client is a large UK organisation operating in the mobility and vehicle services sector. They are seeking a Logistics Operative to join their Coalville site on a full-time, permanent basis.

Reporting to the Logistics Team Leader, the role is responsible for safely parking, moving and retrieving vehicles across a large vehicle refurbishment site. The successful candidate will help maintain an organised and efficient operation, ensuring site capacity is used effectively and workloads are prioritised in line with business requirements.

The role forms part of a busy logistics function supporting the movement of approximately 1,000 vehicles each day.

Responsibilities

  • Safely park, move and retrieve vehicles across the site.
  • Support the efficient movement of approximately 1,000 vehicles each day.
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
  • Help maximise available space and site capacity.
  • Prioritise vehicle movements and workloads in line with operational requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the smooth running of site logistics.
  • Follow site procedures and instructions from the Logistics Team Leader.

This role is based on a 45-hour working week, with 9-hour shifts scheduled between 06:30 and 18:00. The most suitable shift pattern can be discussed at interview stage.
