Logistics Assistant – Tangle Teezer
Tangle Teezer is a global brand focused on giving everyone healthier-looking hair with less breakage since 2007. About the Role
Helping you achieve healthier hair has been our primary focus since 2007, with innovative tools for every hair type. Now, we’re growing our team to support our global logistics through an exciting opportunity as a Logistics Assistant.
In this critical role, you’ll manage critical inbound stock and outbound sales orders, ensuring smooth shipments, collaborate with suppliers, and support international freight operations while maintaining Customs compliance.

Core Responsibilities

Shipment & Transport Management
- Process shipment bookings for global air, road, marine, and courier transport (regular and ad hoc)
- Coordinate with forwarders, distributors, and freight partners to streamline multi-modal shipments
- Manage end-to-end logistics, including tracking and reporting on inbound UK/US stock shipments
Documentation & Finance
- Generate shipping invoices, Certificates of Origin, EUR1 forms, and ensure all paperwork meets compliance requirements
- Collaborate with others to benchmark freight costs and plan cost-effective logistics strategies
Operational Support & Improvement
- Assist in maintaining and updating the Logistics Admin mailbox, handling internal/external queries on shipment status
- Work closely with Production, Vendors, and 3PLs to improve shipment schedules and operational efficiency
- Review internal/external outbound processes and propose improved workflows to align with KPI reporting

Key Partnerships
- Manage reporting with Logistics Co-ordinator and Finance to ensure timely PO checks and supplier payments
- Navigate customs regulations and international trade changes to adapt logistics strategies
Requirements

Experience & Skills
- Minimum 2+ years in Logistics, Transport, Supply Chain, or Import/Export Admin, with exposure to multi-modal freight
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Basic familiarity with Incoterms & HS codes
- Ability to create and verify shipping documentation, including EA certs and EUR1 forms
- Experience in managing supplier relationships, quotas, or carriage agreements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics NAV and MS Office products (Excel, Word, email management)
- Comfortable adapting to changing trade conditions, including EU/UK and US customs

- Great communicator under pressure in a high-stakes fulfilment cycle
- Collaborative and process-driven, with a penchant for improving efficiency
- Team player who lends a hand in system maintenance, reporting, and training others
