Our services are based on in-depth understanding of individual consumer behaviour and marketing technology which influence the way consumers buy products and services through a combination of data, technology and consultancy.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Product Strategy & Implementation team as a Logistics Consultant, supporting presales activity, shaping technical solutions and helping clients understand how CACI’s logistics software can solve real operational challenges.

You will work with commercial, product and technical teams to:

  • translate client requirements into clear solution options
  • deliver compelling demonstrations
  • develop proof-of-concept plans
  • define practical implementation approaches.

A key part of the role will be supporting the sales cycle through requirements workshops, product demonstrations, proposal input and solution design, ensuring clients clearly see the operational value, technical fit and implementation route.

You will combine technical ability, customer-facing skills and commercial awareness, to build credibility with senior stakeholders, operational users and internal delivery teams.

What you’ll be doing

As part of the Logistics Solutions Group, this wide-ranging role will involve supporting new business opportunities by understanding customer requirements, configuring and demonstrating CACI’s logistics software, analysing customer requirements and shaping and delivering pragmatic solutions using our CACI’s logistics products and consultancy.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain expertise in CACI’s logistics software, including Pin Routes, Pin Live, Pin Supply Chain and Truckstops
  • Support presales activity through tailored demonstrations, requirements workshops, technical workshops and proposal input
  • Work with commercial colleagues to understand requirements, qualify opportunities and shape solution propositions
  • Translate customer challenges into practical technical options, proof-of-concept plans and implementation approaches
  • Configure and implement logistics solutions remotely and on site, supported by data analysis and customer-specific scenarios
  • Train customers, answer technical enquiries and support successful adoption of our software products
  • Present complex analytical results clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Identify product improvement opportunities and work with Product Owners, delivery teams and customers to enhance our solutions

Who you are

We are looking for someone with a strong analytical and technical background, practical exposure to logistics, and experience in presales, solution engineering, technical consultancy or a similar customer-facing role.

You will be confident working with prospects and customers, able to understand operational challenges, explore requirements, configure software, analyse data and explain technical solutions in a clear, credible and customer-focused way.

Ideally you will:

  • Have experience in logistics, supply chain, route optimisation, transport planning, fleet operations or a closely related sector
  • Be confident supporting requirements workshops, product demonstrations, technical workshops and customer presentations
  • Translate customer requirements into clear solution options, implementation approaches and practical recommendations
  • Be comfortable with software configuration, data analysis and tools such as SQL, scripting, Python, Power BI or Tableau
  • Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences, simplifying complex concepts where needed
  • Be commercially aware, organised and able to manage work across presales, implementation and customer support
  • Have curiosity and passion for maps, GIS, logistics, data, technology and innovation
  • Be comfortable in building trusted relationships with colleagues, prospects and customers
