Job Summary

Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, Axiom, with the spin planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support Axiom, a company focused on critical digital infrastructure and delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.

We are looking for a new Logistics Coordinator - 1 year Fixed term employee to be based in Kendal.

Summary

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for providing efficient administrative and clerical support mainly to the UK dispatch process but also on occasion for import/export processes for all Anord Mardix UK sites. The role requires close collaboration with multiple internal stakeholders (Production, Planning, Projects, Procurement and Sales) and external parties including Clients, Freight Forwarders and Customs Agents.

What a typical day looks like

• Manage and control all outbound and inbound deliveries
• Ensure the accuracy of all shipping documentation including delivery notes, commercial invoices, Chamber of Commerce export documents, dangerous goods paperwork and load plans are raised accurately
• Internal liaison with Project Managers and Production to ensure accurate and timely organisation of collections and deliveries
• Arrange and manage all transport and logistics in the most cost efficient and effective manner to support business operations
• Where required, external liaison with clients to ensure delivery requirements are met to the highest standard
• Negotiating best possible prices with suppliers
• Ensure that Purchase Orders are raised correctly and in line with company procedures
• Updating and maintaining accurate records of all deliveries to ensure compliance with all customs authorities, including HMRC audit purposes
• Chasing down proof of deliveries (POD’s) as part of the internal revenue recognition process
• Preparing weekly/monthly logistic reports with key process indicators (KPI’s)
• Covering export and import processes when required
