We're hiring: Logistics Coordinator at Qualiko
Do you know how import and export logistics work in the meat industry? Do you like keeping things moving between teams, partners and customers? Then we'd love to hear from you.
Qualiko is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our international team in Welwyn Garden City (UK).
What you'll do
- Act as the link between the logistics, sales, import and accounts teams
- Receive and process orders in SAP, and manage inbound and outbound documents
- Book transport with approved carriers and negotiate the best rates
- Book loading slots at cold stores and arrange delivery slots with customers
- Control stock and run weekly and monthly reconciliations
- Check and approve invoices from storage and transport providers
- Plan logistics operations accurately and flag possible disruptions early
- Support claims between partners, customers and service providers
- Prepare reports, join meetings, and support the Logistics Team Leader and Head of Supply Chain
- Provide great customer service every day

What we're looking for
- Experience in import and export of meat and meat products
- Experience in international and national logistics
- Experience working in a multicultural, international office
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- SAP knowledge is a plus
- Higher education is preferred
