Logistics Coordinator

The role of a Logistics Coordinator is to support the flow of goods from our UK & EU Distribution Centres to our global customer base, ensuring the right level of service at the right cost. This is an important role within the logistics team, ensuring we can continue to ensure we deliver to our customers globally.

What you will be doing:

  • Producing accurate export documentation, in a timely manner, for deliveries to International stores from UK and EU DC’s to allow for the smooth delivery of stock across borders.
  • Booking and controlling stock movements between external warehouses and consolidation centres or stores.
  • Monitor and track timely arrival of deliveries to stores, highlighting any issues and working with our partners and customers to resolve any challenges.
  • Releasing orders for the EU DC within the timescales agreed with business and logistics partner.
  • Review the UK DC orderpool daily & attend the weekly calls with the merchandise team to agree the following weeks workload.
  • Maintaining the Country of Origin database ensuring new lines are added and any code changes updated.
  • Liaising with external suppliers regarding delivery queries into stores & collectively maintain the order delivery tracker.
  • Compiling and issuing daily and weekly reports.
  • Supporting the Logistics Team by maintaining excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strong retail background with strong administrative skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Outlook).
  • Excellent organisational ability and a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to demonstrate problem solving skills, time management and prioritisation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships with colleagues and suppliers.
