What you will be doing:
- Being the first point of contact for our drivers, communicating morning and afternoon vehicle movement plans to suit job requirements.
- Work closely with drivers to ensure legal driving hours are adhered to and include regular tachograph checks.
- Work with the Senior Logistics Manager to ensure smooth and efficient transportation of kit to the intended destination within strict timelines.
- Communicate to relevant sites regarding stock movements.
- Maintain truck and trailer inspections, MOT and service records.
- Maintain daily trucking records for yearly comparison across jobs, including records of costs for vehicles and trailers.
- Manage company fleet of vehicles, responsible for MOT’s, servicing, repairs, breakdowns and hire vehicles.
- Maintain company fuel card administration.
- Provide administrative support to the stock team as required.
- Assisting with daily accommodation requirements, as required.
- Supporting with crew transport requirements, booking hotels, and flights.
- General administrative support with emails and telephone calls.

Who you are:
- Previous knowledge of transportation planning is essential, with a minimum of two years’ experience.
- Must have experience working in a similar role in the United Kingdom.
- Experience working in a busy office environment, minimum of two years’ experience.
- Must have a good understanding of HGV transport legislation and compliance.
- A strong knowledge of tachograph regulations.
- Proficient in data entry and analysis using tools such as Excel.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail to maintain accurate records and identify discrepancies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Have a positive and enthusiastic attitude, with a process-driven work ethic and be willing to learn.
- Flexibility - able to adapt approach when individuals or the situation requires.

This role is based full-time in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire, so you must be able to commute daily to the office.
