Job Title: Logistics Analyst/Coordinator
Location: Dundee
Hours: 37 hours per week, permanent position
ROLE SUMMARY
In this role, you will work closely with transportation vendors and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments. You will support day-to-day logistics operations and ensure compliance with UK and European customs laws and regulations.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage relationships with transportation providers, freight forwarders, express couriers, and road transport suppliers.
- Work with customs brokers to ensure timely customs clearances and deliveries.
- Support customs compliance activities, including Intrastat reporting.
- Participate in quarterly business reviews with key transportation suppliers.
- Monitor and report on supplier performance metrics.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound transportation activities and shipment tracking.
- Manage transportation-related escalations and support issue resolution across the region.
- Support shipping operations to and from the Dundee site.
- Provide timely updates to internal and external stakeholders regarding critical orders and shipments.
- Investigate and resolve shipping and delivery issues, including submitting claims for lost or damaged freight.
- Determine appropriate transportation routes based on delivery requirements and customer needs.
- Identify opportunities to optimise transportation efficiency through shipment consolidation and process improvement.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the business to support operational objectives and customer requirements.

KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Confident using Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- University degree or equivalent experience within a logistics, supply chain, or transportation environment.
- Knowledge of UK and European customs regulations would be advantageous.
