JOB PURPOSE

As Logistics Coordinator, you will join Burberry’s Global Primary Transportation team. This role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy, visibility and efficiency of inbound transportation operations across our global network. Working closely with carriers, internal stakeholders and technology teams, you will help maintain high-quality shipment data, improve forecasting capabilities and support continuous process enhancements that enable exceptional customer fulfillment. This is an opportunity to contribute to operational excellence while helping shape smarter, more connected logistics processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and maintain shipment data accuracy within SAP, ensuring timely and reliable tracking across the global transportation network.
  • Act as a key point of contact for transportation systems, collaborating with carriers, customs, IT and supply chain teams to resolve operational issues and drive improvements.
  • Monitor carrier compliance with data updates and service level agreements, identifying opportunities to strengthen visibility and performance.
  • Deliver regular inbound and carrier forecasts, analysing variances and partnering with stakeholders to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Develop, maintain and enhance logistics reporting and dashboards, providing insights that support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Support transportation projects, process improvements and data governance initiatives that enhance efficiency, automation and customer service.

PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Experience within logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, supply chain operations or a related environment.
  • Strong understanding of shipping processes, import/export activities and transportation documentation.
  • Confidence working with data and reporting tools, including advanced Excel skills; SAP experience is advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build relationships across multiple teams and external partners.
  • Curious, proactive and adaptable, with a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
