Logistics Coordinator
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the flow of goods and services, ensuring that shipments are processed efficiently and effectively. This position requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and familiarity with coordinating Sea Freight contracts. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will have a portfolio of contracts that you will look after from beginning through to the end. From initial contract stage, through to delivery and payment. You will be responsible for ensuring correct documentation is available and have a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee the shipping and receiving of goods, ensuring timely delivery and correct documentation has been prepared.
- Utilise Transportation Management Systems to track shipments and manage logistics operations.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately to maintain up-to-date records of inventory and shipments. These tasks will be mostly carried out on Excel workbooks.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to resolve any issues related to shipping or receiving.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless logistics operations that support overall business objectives.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management is preferred.
- Familiarity and competence in using Excel.
- Strong attention to detail.
- The ability to work well under pressure and manage own priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on professional phone etiquette.
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes within a logistics environment is beneficial.
- Due to the office location, a full driving license and car will be required to apply for this role.
- Must be located in the UK and have the right to work in the UK
