The Opportunity
We are working with a growing, design-led consumer products business seeking a Logistics Coordinator - Outbound, to support its day-to-day outbound logistics and distribution operations.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced, evolving business where you will play an important role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods across retail, e-commerce and wholesale channels, both within the UK and internationally.
Working closely with internal teams and external logistics partners, you will coordinate shipments, monitor delivery performance, maintain accurate documentation and help drive operational efficiencies across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate outbound shipments, ensuring deliveries and collections are completed on time.
- Track shipments, proactively identify potential delays and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Liaise with third-party warehouses, freight forwarders, couriers and transport providers to arrange bookings and resolve delivery issues.
- Work closely with Customer Services and warehouse teams to ensure returns and quality-related stock issues are managed efficiently.
- Review logistics invoices against agreed rates and service levels, investigating discrepancies where necessary.
- Support internal teams with domestic and international shipping requirements and associated documentation.
- Help plan and coordinate peak trading periods, ensuring logistics partners are prepared to maintain service levels.
- Prepare and maintain shipping documentation, including delivery notes, commercial invoices, customs paperwork and manifests.
- Maintain accurate shipment and inventory records across relevant logistics systems.
- Monitor transport costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce expenditure.
- Ensure compliance with relevant UK and international shipping and customs requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, helping develop effective and scalable logistics processes.

About You
We are looking for an organised, analytical and proactive individual with experience in logistics, transport coordination or supply chain operations.
You will ideally have:
- At least three years' experience in a logistics, supply chain or transport coordination role.
- A good understanding of third-party logistics (3PL) warehouse operations and domestic and international carrier networks.
- Experience working within a fast-paced, growing business, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and improve existing processes.
- Strong analytical skills and confident Excel capability.
- A sound understanding of UK and international shipping procedures.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Experience using logistics, warehouse management or ERP systems.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures and import/export documentation would be advantageous.
