Salary range: £30,000-£35,000 pro rata

About You
Our growing team is looking for an enthusiastic, driven Logistics Coordinator to join DDA and support our busy Logistics team. This is a fixed-term contract with the potential to become permanent. You must be fully immersed in the world of travel and accommodation logistics. It would be useful to have an interest in working in the film, television, and entertainment industry.
In your role, you will be supporting our Logistics Manager to interface between our clients and travel vendors. As such, you will be expected to be professional, have strong relationship-building skills, organization and project planning, and an ability to negotiate the best deals. Attention to detail is a given, alongside budget management and forecasting.

Your Key Responsibilities Include
Responsible for
- Coordinate end-to-end logistics - flights, hotels, airport greeters, and ground transportation
- On-site management of logistics delivery at events, showcases, festivals, junkets, and red carpets.
- Budget management and forecasting
- Client relationships – ensuring proactive communication/fast response
Delivery
- Able to successfully balance multiple projects
- Independently manage logistics and report back on progress to manager
- Able to flag and provide solutions for any issues arising
- Take responsibility and pride for the delivery of a successful project
- Mindful of health and safety and ensuring all suppliers are regulated by a professional code of conduct
- Assist with building a worldwide network of suppliers
People
- Maintain a professional manner and calm exterior in times of stress.
- Ability to think and work under pressure and ensure timely and client-focused project delivery
- Resourcefulness demonstrated in problem-solving and showing initiative
- High level of effective team communication maintained through regular meetings and one-on-one contact.

- Ability to be client-facing with communication and delivery

Skills & Experience
- Demonstrable experience in working in entertainment logistics
- Demonstrable experience in building key client relationships and delivering outstanding service.
- A passion for learning and a proven track record of providing the best possible solutions for clients
- Good analytical skills and can pull out key learnings and trends for reporting
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized to meet multiple deadlines across a variety of projects
- A team player, willing to share knowledge and discuss approaches and tactics but also able to work independently
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Pro-active & intuitive
- Must be happy to work additional hours as required and be available to travel internationally as needed. This will on occasion involve working evenings and weekends
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Google Docs, and Internet Research
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets / Apple Numbers skills
Desirable
- Additional languages are useful but not essential
- Knowledge of Travel booking platforms - GDS expertise - Sabre preferred
