Logistics Coordinator - 12 month contract
Location: Scotland (Site-based with travel) Inverness, Perth or Glasgow
Inside of IR35, £500 - £550 a day
We require a Logistics Coordinator to support the delivery of major transmission and infrastructure projects. Working alongside the Logistics Manager, Project Teams, and Principal Contractors, you'll help ensure personnel, materials, equipment, and site services are available to support construction activities safely and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the movement of materials, equipment, and personnel across project sites.
- Act as a key interface between contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
- Monitor contractor logistics performance and identify risks, delays, and constraints.
- Support site mobilisation activities, including transport, accommodation, access, and welfare arrangements.
- Assist with logistics planning, site access, laydown areas, and traffic management.
- Attend project meetings and provide updates on logistics performance and issues.
- Promote high standards of health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance.
- Maintain logistics records, delivery documentation, and lessons learned.

About You
- Experience in construction, utilities, energy, infrastructure, or major project logistics.
- Proven ability to coordinate contractors, suppliers, and multiple stakeholders.
- Strong organisational, planning, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of construction health & safety requirements and site operations.
- Proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.

Desirable
- Experience supporting transmission, HVDC, renewable energy, or offshore projects.
- Knowledge of contractor logistics, site mobilisation, and construction delivery.
- Experience working on remote or large-scale infrastructure projects.
