About the Role

We're looking for a Logistics Data Analyst to join our UK Logistics team on a 24-month Fixed Term Contract. Reporting to the UK Logistics Operations Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, quality and availability of logistics data to support strategic procurement activities, transport management system setup and logistics planning across the UK.

You'll quickly build an understanding of the DS Smith logistics network and work closely with stakeholders across Logistics, Procurement, IT and external logistics partners. A significant part of the role will involve data collation, cleansing, standardisation and analysis, helping to create the robust data foundations needed to support logistics tenders, supplier management and operational decision-making.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with complex data, has a strong understanding of logistics operations, and is looking for an opportunity to contribute to high-profile business projects while developing their expertise in logistics and supply chain analytics.

What You'll Be Doing

As a key member of the UK Logistics team, you will:

  • Collate, cleanse and maintain logistics data across transport and warehousing operations.
  • Manage master data for logistics providers, customers and DS Smith sites.
  • Support logistics system setup and data management, including the Transport Management System (TMS).
  • Prepare and analyse data for logistics procurement and tender activities.
  • Develop financial baselines and provide insights to support decision-making.
  • Create reports and analysis using Excel and Power BI.
  • Support testing activities, including UAT and system readiness.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR and data governance requirements.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and external logistics partners to improve data accuracy and consistency.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
