Role Description
This full-time, on-site Logistics Management Specialist role is based in Rochdale at J&T Express UK Ltd. The specialist oversees daily logistics operations, including coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, monitoring delivery schedules, and ensuring accurate and timely order fulfilment.
Responsibilities
- Managing warehouse workflows
- Tracking inventory levels
- Optimising routes and transport methods to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Working closely with internal teams and external partners
- Resolving operational issues
- Maintaining accurate records and reports in line with company standards and regulatory requirements
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
- Contributing to process documentation
- Upholding health, safety, and quality guidelines across logistics activities

Qualifications

- Strong logistics and supply chain management skills, including transport planning, inventory control, and workflow coordination.
- Competence in data analysis, reporting, and the use of logistics or warehouse management systems and related software tools.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers.
- Solid organisational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Understanding of health, safety, and compliance standards relevant to logistics and warehouse operations.
- Prior experience in logistics, distribution, or warehouse management, ideally within a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work on-site in Rochdale, demonstrating reliability, adaptability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Relevant vocational training or a degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field is beneficial.
