Our client is a fast-growing international beauty group with an exciting portfolio of brands and a growing presence across the UK, US and Europe. With strong retail partnerships and an expanding direct-to-consumer presence, the business is entering an exciting period of growth.
The Operations team is small, hands-on and highly collaborative, meaning this is a role where your work will have genuine visibility and impact across the wider business.
The Opportunity
This is a broad, hands-on Logistics Manager role for someone who enjoys taking ownership and being at the heart of day-to-day operations. You will oversee the journey of wholesale orders from receipt through to invoice, alongside managing the freight and warehouse activity that supports customer demand.
Working across the UK, US and Europe, you will be responsible for ensuring orders are processed accurately and delivered on time, while managing relationships with third-party logistics partners, supporting new product launches and resolving operational issues as they arise.
This is not a role where you will simply be managing processes from a distance. You will be expected to roll up your sleeves, investigate issues, work closely with internal teams and external partners, and continually look for ways to improve how the operation works as the business scales.

Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end order management process across wholesale accounts, from order receipt through to invoice
- Manage both EDI and manual order flows, ensuring purchase orders are accurately processed within retailer deadlines
- Monitor order accuracy and proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and automation
- Manage retailer compliance requirements, including routing, appointments, vendor portals and order performance
- Monitor retailer scorecards and investigate the root causes of any service issues or deductions
- Manage deduction and credit memo disputes, working with relevant internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues
- Support the onboarding of new retail partners, including item setup, labelling, routing requirements and first-order readiness
- Own freight quotations and bookings for componentry and finished goods across suppliers, fillers and warehouses
- Prepare and check relevant shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists and certificates of origin
- Track inbound shipments against required dates and escalate any delays that could impact customer orders or launches
- Manage day-to-day relationships with third-party logistics providers across the UK and US
- Monitor warehouse performance against fulfilment SLAs and feed service and cost data into the wider Operations function
- Act as a key point of contact for retailer and customer queries, ensuring issues are routed and resolved efficiently
- Support commercial, digital and brand teams with launches, promotions and sampling activity
- Coordinate fulfilment requirements across marketplace and direct-to-consumer channels
- Contribute to wider operational projects and process improvements as the business continues to grow

Ideal Background
- 3+ years' experience in logistics coordination, order management, customer service or a similar operational role
- Experience within FMCG, beauty, consumer goods or another fast-paced product-led environment
- Experience supplying major retailers, ideally across both the UK and US
- Direct experience with EDI and retailer vendor requirements would be highly advantageous
- Comfortable working with ERP/IMS systems and retailer portals
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple orders, deadlines and stakeholders simultaneously
- Naturally investigative, with the ability to trace operational issues back to their root cause
- Experience working with 3PLs and/or freight providers would be advantageous
- Exposure to freight documentation, customs or international logistics would be a plus
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing business where priorities can change quickly
