Role Description
The Logistics Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Greysteel, responsible for overseeing day-to-day fuel distribution operations. This position manages delivery scheduling, route planning, and fleet utilization to ensure timely, cost-effective, and safe deliveries to residential, agricultural, and commercial customers. The Logistics Manager coordinates closely with drivers, customer service, and depot teams, monitoring stock levels, tracking orders, and resolving operational issues as they arise. The role also involves maintaining compliance with transport and safety regulations, optimizing logistics processes, and using systems and data to improve service performance. In addition, the Logistics Manager supports continuous improvement initiatives, contributes to operational planning, and helps uphold the company’s commitment to a reliable and customer-focused service.

- Strong experience in logistics, transport, or supply chain management, including route planning and fleet coordination.
- Proficiency with logistics software, scheduling tools, and basic data analysis for operational decision-making.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations, particularly in fuel or hazardous materials handling.
- Effective leadership skills, with experience supervising teams, assigning tasks, and supporting performance development.
- Clear and professional communication skills for collaborating with drivers, depot staff, and customer-facing teams.
- Organized and detail-oriented approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Relevant qualification in logistics, transport management, business, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
- Previous experience in fuel distribution, utilities, or similar industries is an advantage.
- A valid driving license and the ability to work on-site in Greysteel on a full-time basis.
